Parental Involvement Worker

Our Parental Involvement Worker is Mrs Tracey Murgatroyd, her job is to make it easier for parents/carers to become involved with school. She will be a link between you and the school.

She provides support for pupils and families from starting with us in Nursery right the way through to leaving us at the end of Year 6 to go to secondary school.

Support can be offered in a variety of ways from a chat in school to referrals to a variety of agencies such as the school nurse, children’s Centre or other services specializing in working with families affected by specific issues such as domestic abuse.

One of the main areas of support is ensuring that children attend school regularly, this means achieving the target of 95% attendance at all times. If you have any issues around your child’s attendance do not hesitate to call in for advice. (Please see leaflet)

She is based within school during school hours and can be contacted via the main office either by dropping in or ringing 01274-611512, there is also a post box that you can leave a message in which is located in the front entrance if you prefer.
